Concept Cartography uses one cookie, and only to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner to click through.

The session cookie holds only a random identifier. It isn't shared with third parties and can't be read by scripts running on the page. Because it's strictly necessary for signing in, it doesn't need your consent under the UK and EU ePrivacy rules. If you block it, you can still read public pages, but you won't be able to sign in or edit maps.
Local storage
Some small preferences are saved in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

No third-party requests
Everything the site needs, including its fonts, is served from our own domain. No third parties can set cookies or see your visit through the pages you load here. Links to external sites, such as GitHub or a concept's source, only take you there when you click them.
Managing cookies and storage
You can delete or block cookies and clear local storage in your browser's settings. Signing out also removes the session cookie. Clearing local storage resets your theme choice and brings back the map help panel.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that isn't strictly necessary, we'll update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. For more about how we handle information, read the privacy policy.
